5/7/2011 - TMB Airport, FL. -- Cadets from the Miami Beach Cadet Sqdn. conducted their first Orientation Ride aboard a CAP C-172 out of Tamiami Airport. Most of the participant Cadets had never flown in an aircraft before, and here they were flying at the controls for their first ride! Pilots Lt. Nick Rios, Capt. Peter Godoy and Capt. James Carraway volunteered their time and expertise to make this a surely unforgettable experience for these young minds. Event was a total success and the Cadets enjoyed and learned tremendously. Many thanks to Capt. Carraway who coordinated the activity and to the Pilots involved as well.
